Update #1: I'm leavin' on a jet plane (to Uruguay, July 23rd...), don't know when I'll be back again (because I bought a ticket with an open-ended return date!!!).

Update #2: I start work a week from tomorrow. Which is poop beacuse I am going to make less f'loose but awesome because I have a whole week in which to accomplish the following activities: going to the eye doctor (to get a year's supply of contacts), going to the regular doctor (to get vaccinated against weird South American diseases, going to the dentist (because he's the devil and wants to eat my soul, but not before he makes up some lame excuse to drill random holes in my teeth and then charge me an arm and a leg for it. You'd think he'd just drill holes in my arm and leg. It would speed up the process), going to the car doctor (mechanic, I suppose, but I thought I'd stick to the theme of doctors. This one was added to the list today after I an innocent attempt to roll down the window resulted in a jaw-clenching, brow-furrowing crash-crunch-moan-thud. And then the window was all the way down. And then it would not go up. And then it started pouring rain. And then I drove home really fast and made my mom move her car out of the garage so I could put mine in it.), donating clothes to the salvation army, getting my hair cut, visiting Gramma, picking up the shirt I left at UConn, hanging out with Dad?, mumkin hanging out with Dan?, definitely hanging out with Becky and Laura (and Ali?) yipee!!!, working on song to sing for wedding, searching for music to play on flute at wedding, learning music to play at wedding, auditioning music in front of to-be-weds (who want to hear before I perform, understandably), getting dog liscence at town hall, finishing cleaning room, re-learning Arabic and learning about the history and politics of Latin America (eyes bulging out of head, project seeming very unmanagable...). So that should take me about a week to get done.

Update #3: Went to Mom's wedding shower today! It was fun! Was one of two women who didn't get lost on the way to house in Somers! Also drove with soon-to-be stepsister, which was cool beacuse we got bonding time. She gave me 2 shirts that don't fit her. It's like we're really sisters; she's already giving me hand-me-downs!

Update #4: Have recently discovered new innovative means of exercise for both myself and dog (whose name is Sandy) (interesting side-note: accidentally typed "god" instead of "dog." Wonder if God works out. Doubt that God is very much like dog, and certainly hope that God does not hump at same rate as dog. Am most likely going to Hell.) So new method of exercise consists of me running on eliptical machine while Sandy chases my feet around in a circle trying to catch my shoelaces. Is most entertaining to watch and tiring for both participants. Wonder if there will be injuries involved in event that Sandy actually grabs shoelace. Remind self that there are risks and injuries involved in all sports.

Update #5: Check your imaginary mailboxes. You'll all be reciving a brown-paper package the size of the state of Alaska plus the town of Middlebury plus 2 cubic feet full of my love for you and all the overdue hugs.
